About Andrew's Driving Tuition

Andrew's Driving Tuition is owned and run by myself, Andrew Harris and is based in Cockfosters, North London.

My driving instructor career began in 2006, aged 22. I have always wanted to be a driving instructor from a young age and in 2005 I began the qualifying exams to persue my dream career. At the time of qualifying, I was one of the youngest fully qualified instructors in England.

I was trained by Tom Kwok who has an excellent reputation for driving instructor training in North London.

I initially began working for a local driving school as a franchised instructor. After an enjoyable period and achieving the third highest pass rate out of 20 instructors, I decided to further my career and started up my own driving school.

		DIAMOND ADVANCED MOTORIST A 60 minute drive over a demanding route, including all manoeuvres. You are examined by a senior examiner from the Driving Instructors Association (DIA). In order to pass you must not make more than 6 driver errors.
		INSTITUTE OF ADVANCED MOTORIST A 90 minute drive over all different types of road and traffic conditions. You are examined by a police class 1 driver, with an emphasis on safe progress.
